Abusive behaviour

When people are verbally or physically abusive, staff are distracted from caring for babies and safety is compromised. For this reason it is expected that all doctors, nurses and midwives are able to work without the threat of physical or verbal abuse.

In the interests of patient and staff safety anyone who is behaving in an abusive manner will be asked to leave and will have their access to the unit limited.
