Kangaroo care
Kangaroo care (also known as skin-to-skin contact) is a way of holding your
baby with his skin against your skin.
Kan-med bed
This is a water-filled mattress, which fits into a cot. A power pack hangs
at the bottom of the cot and maintains the temperature of the water mattress
set by the nurse. A kan-med bed is often used to help babies make the change
from an incubator to a cot.
